Mini makeup haul
The other day I was having a lazy day and decided to go and treat myself and have a little shop, do a little retail therapy and these are the makupey sort f things I bought.
So firstly I went to boots and I have always wanted a Maybelline 'Colour Tattoo', for literally ages and I always use my friends but I have finally got one. I is in the shade on and on bronze because that is the hade that everyone seems to love. I was going to get the shade pink gold but they didn't have in store. That was £4.99.
Next something quite new and when we saw it my friend Emily (everything Emily) ended up dropping it as per usual. It is by seventeen it is a blush called 'cheek stamp' and as soon as I saw it I was fascinated because it isn't normal you have to twist it and there is a pump sort of thing. Very hard to explain but you need to check it out. The one I got was a natural looking shade with a pretty shimmer called ' stare struck' but I loved the other names like 'the cheek of it' and it was only £5.
Thirdly was an eye shadow pallet from collection for an amazing price of £2.99 it is simple and has a light matt a dark matt and the rest of the colours are shimmers I will try that out and let you know the results but I have high hopes for this.
After hand I went to TK Max just to see if they had any decent deals... they did. I am not too sure if this really counts in the haul scene as I got this for someone else but I am still going to include it. It is a three pack of Rimmel 'show off' lip lacquers in shades 'nova', 'solstice' and 'stargazer'. The original price for this was £19.47 and it was reduced down to £4.99, too good to resist.
From Super drug a grabbed myself a baby lips intense care, this was due to me using up all of my peach one and my cherry one is a bit bright for school day so I wanted to try a new one. I think it was £2.99 like all the other baby lips and works a treat.
Thanks for reading my mini make up haul today. Hope you enjoyed it see you soon.

January look
This is a little different to the post that I have recently done on nude lips. Well actually it's kind of the opposite. This is a bright bold lip, a statement look. This is because January is the start of a new year and a new me. No more hiding and shying away, it is now time for a bolder braver me. One who could pull off a bold lip look.
To start off this look I did the usual primer foundation concealer under my eyes and to hide any nasty visitors that decided to pop up.
Then for the eyes I did a bit of a different look to what I usually would. I did bottom lash mascara. Wow a massive step for me I know. Any way the mascara I used for this look was Maybelline one that I had never used nor even seen before called high heet volume. Sounds great to me and it was so cheep. My Benefit They're real mascara is running out (sad face) so I thought I would try a new one and I love it already. Shadow wise I used a grey slightly sparkly shadow by N.7 in shade 35 comet. Such a nice shadow really pigmented and blends well. And I just put that around my eye as kind of a liner (not going into the inner corner at the bottom) and smudged out. To make it darker you could use a black or darker grey right on the lash line.
Then for the statement lips, there isn't much I can say about it but I used the Rimmel Apocolips in the shade Big Bang It is very bright and not drying that is the good thing about the Apocolips they are a mix between a lipstick and lip gloss resulting in a lip laqure. It is a bold red, however if reds aren't your thing I also own two others in the Apocolips line that I own not sure of the name and stella they are a popping pink and a glowing coral. That specific shade also makes your teeth look whiter which is always a bonus.
Next for the outfit I chose to go with this look (it's just what I wore on the day). My top is a blue and red checked shirt from Topshop, super baggy and super comfy. Under that I just wore leggings again for comfort reasons, They are from Dorothy Perkins but I wouldn't recommend them, they are a little see through. As it is chilly in January I also add my French connection denim jacket with grey hoodie sleeves.
Finally to accessories I have a fluffy head band from Jules (sooo expensive, sooo worth it). It is a deep purple navy colour almost black. And shoes wise I used my brown boots with a white fluff collar. I am living in them this winter.
Thanks for reading this post and hope it gives you some inspiration for your own look.

Inspirations
I have a couple of inspirations and I thought I would share them. They are not all the same sort, some are just people I wish/ aspire to be like.
Blake lively
The prettiest person alive! With a perfect face, body, life. She is an amazing actress and has made me cry with her acting skills many times before. Even after having a baby she looks stunning. Her and Ryan Reynolds are a match made in heaven and I would give anything to be her. If you don't know her go search her now and your jaw will drop.
My nan
She may not be much but to me she is everything. Not only did she do so much for charity and others, children, babies and more. She also was loved by everyone she met. She helped me so much when I was growing up and i'm so thankful. I miss her but know she always stays with me in all she has taught me and everything else. R.I.P Nan Love you for now and forever.
Demi Lovato
Demi has made it from Disney into the world of music which isn't easy and she had a lot of abuse along the way. However she struggled through it and is an inspiration to me. She even has a tattoo on her wrists saying 'stay strong' which is really sweet and another on her arm saying faith with birds flying out. Plus I would love to sing like her, I could listen to her all day.
